As you head Northward through the city of Novato you can find lodging and places to eat and you should take advantage of these while still in the city.

As you head further North the road becomes less populated and the road opens up to reveal beautiful open countryside. A very nice leisurely ride even for a novice rider.

If you want to take it nice and slow there are several parks you can stop at near the Stafford Lake.
