This is a great ride, there are wide open spaces and beautiful scenery. After leaving Calistoga the road will flatten out and take you through the Napa Valley for a smooth ride.

However because this is a main arterial road you will find heavy trucks and large recreational vehicles transiting along this road, so be careful of the wind gusts as they pass.

This ride takes you through the heart of the Napa Valley wine region so the sights are wonderful when everything is in bloom and during the crush season the scents of wine will fill your nose as you ride past.
