RIDE SUMMARY

The CA-116 from Schellville to Petaluma is a very beautiful ride. It actually has two sections of this road that have the local names Stage Gulch Road and Lakeville Highway. The Stage Gulch portion is a pleasant ride through very beautiful rolling hills and wide open valleys. In the spring this area is even more beautiful with the flowers in bloom.

The second portion of this road is Lakeville Highway and it is an alternative to US-101 heading North and subsequently it has its share of larger trucks, so please be careful and make sure you can ride where truckers can see you clearly.
