CA-1 is famous for having some of the most beautiful coastlines in the world, leading to its designation as an All-American Road. CA-1 is one of the states most sought after cruise along the coast!

Known for its rugged beauty and curvy nature, the windy two lane highway runs through the coastal communities of Bodega and Jenner.  Maintained by the state, most of the highway is smooth and flawless. 

Along the roadway are well posted cautionary and speed limit signs that take a lot of the guess work out of the ride.  The thing to remember is that everyone, from everywhere, enjoys this highway.  Be especially on guard for joggers especially when exiting a turn. 

Tourists have a tendency of driving a little erratic after spotting a photo opportunity at the last second.  For this reason, keep your eyes open.
