Eastside Road is commonly used by North County locals to circumvent the westbound traffic that runs through the town of Fulton, towards the River Area.
This is a scenic mildly curvy road, but it comes with its fair share of avoidable obstacles. Navigating around potholes, cross traffic and occasional road debris is a typical run for anyone who has taken it.
The road itself has uneven surfaces as a result of the heavy commercial trucks and farm equipment using the road.
The views are great and the turns are enjoyable, but the less than stellar condition of the road makes you wish the county had some more funds !
Not too far south of Windsor/River Road is a regional park with hiking trails and a nice rest area to stretch your legs, or have a picnic.
