This road is located near Mark West Springs and also Kellog. It can be used as an alternative to get between US-101 to CA-128. It is a beautiful ride through oak trees and rolling green hills.

There is some elevation to this road and it offers some very beautiful views of the hills and surrounding areas.

Franz Valley Road is a pleasant road to have a nice leisurely ride on. Be careful because there is wildlife in the area and often deer are just off the roadway.
