River Road is a nice ride through the country as you leave US-101 and head towards the Russian River. As you get closer to the river the scenery changes and you start to enter Redwood Forests and the beautiful green hills of Western Sonoma County.

As you ride West you will ride amongst large vineyards that cover the entire valleys. The road has wide sweeping turns that take you into the hills. It is very important to watch for wildlife on the roadway as it is all around you.

There are plenty of places to stop in Guerneville to eat and to spend the night.
