This is one ride that is recommended for those who enjoy touring the beautiful west hills of Sonoma County. Equipped with steep grades and a very narrow road, this ride can be a bit of a challenge for some.

There are many sights and sounds along the way and this road can turn into a peaceful all-day retreat. Bring a camera perhaps a sack lunch and enjoy some of the most striking backdrops this county has to offer.

This is a single lane road so be sure to exercise caution. Road debris caused from fallen trees and rockslides may be present. Cattle crossing grids are periodically found along this road. Uneven road surfaces are throughout, and a couple of hair-pin turns can lead to quick surprises.
