Traveling away from the distinguished "West Side" wine country region of Healdsburg and into the Russian River area this road holds a similiar look and feel that the northern area of Westside Road does. Though as you get closer to Guerneville, the smooth turns, comfortable speeds and scenic landscape tend to lead you to more narrow roads and sharper turns. Traffic is generally light on this road but commercial vehicles do use this road also.

Because there are many side roads and driveways that lead up the this road, gravel and extra dirt debris may be found near the shoulder of the roadway.

In the afternoon the sun shines through the trees and produces a beautiful glow across the landscape so you must make sure you take a good pair of shades and plan your ride accordingly.

This is a great alternative to travel to the Russian River area if you would like to stay away from any possible River Road congestion.
